Join jobr.pro as an Engineering Manager to lead the Anti-Abuse team in Foster City. You'll build systems to protect our platform from a variety of threats including phishing and fraud, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a balance between security and user experience.

The ideal candidate has extensive engineering and management experience, a hands-on approach, and familiarity with AI coding tools. This full-time role requires in-office work on designated days, and offers comprehensive benefits including competitive salary and a 401(k) matching program.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years managing teams.
• Hands-on orientation with coding and reviewing PRs.
• Experience building detection and enforcement systems at scale.
• Experience with identity and progressive verification systems.
• Strong product and metrics intuition.

Responsibilities

• Build the anti-abuse roadmap and define the threat model.
• Design progressive verification and identity infrastructure.
• Ship as a hands-on Engineering Manager.
• Define metrics for measuring anti-abuse effectiveness.
• Hire and grow a small, high-leverage team.
