Job summary

Chainguard is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a fast-moving AI/CI/CD tools team. You will own products end-to-end, hire and grow engineers, and stay hands-on to ensure secure, production-ready software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing engineers.
• Proven track record shipping products or major features.
• Strong technical background; read code, review designs, and reason about architecture and tradeoffs.
• Proficiency with Go or readiness to ramp quickly.
• Experience building CI/CD systems, developer tooling, or product-facing platforms; familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with AI tooling and applying it to complex customer problems.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of products end-to-end—from roadmap to rollout and iteration.
• Hire, lead, and grow a small team of engineers; remove blockers.
