Qualifications

• Led engineering teams delivering production systems with high security, reliability or platform stakes.
• Ability to reason from user workflows to architecture, threat models, and enforcement points.
• Deep understanding of modern application security, identity, tenancy, data isolation and secure-by-default design.

Responsibilities

• Define security primitives enabling agent autonomy and lead the team that builds them.
• Engineer isolation to protect Cursor’s codebases and data from threats.
• Build authority infrastructure: identity, permissions, policy enforcement, secure tool execution.
• Create customer-facing security controls that are usable and strong.
