What You’ll Do
- Lead civil engineering efforts for electric transmission siting, permitting, and design
- Direct and coordinate project tasks, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget alignment
- Guide multidisciplinary collaboration across engineering teams
- Oversee preparation and review of calculations, drawings, and technical deliverables
- Conduct field assessments, site inspections, and construction-phase support
- Participate in proposal development, including scope and budget creation
- Ensure quality through peer reviews, QA/QC processes, and technical oversight
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required, Master’s degree preferred
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (multi-state reciprocity preferred)
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, permitting, and construction practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams in dynamic environments
Experience
- 12+ years of experience in civil engineering
- Proficient with the development of design and construction documents for infrastructure projects
- Proven experience with regulatory requirements and permitting associated with infrastructure projects
- Background in electric transmission or similar infrastructure projects preferred
- Experience using engineering and project tools such as AutoCAD, Hydrology, Hydraulic, Stormwater Management and Project Management software
