Job summary

GPAC is seeking an Engineering Manager for a hands-on, high-precision CNC manufacturing environment in Central Illinois. Lead engineering strategy, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement while developing the engineering team onsite.

The role focuses on G-Code programming, tooling performance, setup improvements, and overall operational excellence. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 6+ years of CNC manufacturing/engineering leadership experience.
• Strong background in G-Code programming, process engineering, tooling, blueprint reading, GD&T, and machining operations.

Engineering Manager| CNC Manufacturing | Up to $130K + FULL Relocation Package

I'm partnering with a manufacturing client seeking a Engineering Manager to lead engineering strategy, process improvement, and technical operations within a high-precision CNC manufacturing environment.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on engineering leader who thrives in continuous improvement, machining/process optimization, team development, and operational excellence.

Compensation: $110K to $130K Onsite Role in Central Illinois FULL Relocation Assistance Available

Ideal Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of CNC manufacturing / engineering leadership experience
• Strong background in G-Code programming, process engineering, tooling, blueprint reading, GD&T, and machining operations
• Experience leading teams, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and improving production performance
• Bonus points for experience with Plex software, NDT inspections, 5S methodology, and advanced manufacturing process improvements
