Job summary

gpac is seeking an Engineering Manager for a hands-on leadership role in a high-precision CNC manufacturing environment in Central Illinois. You will shape engineering strategy, oversee process improvement, and drive operational excellence on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in CNC manufacturing or engineering leadership, a BS in Engineering, and strong experience with G-code programming, GD&T, tooling, and process engineering. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 6+ years in CNC manufacturing or engineering leadership.
• Strong background in G-code programming, process engineering, tooling, GD&T, and machining operations.
• Experience leading teams and improving production performance.
• Experience with Plex software, NDT inspections, 5S, and advanced manufacturing improvements is a plus.

Responsibilities

I'm partnering with a manufacturing client seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering strategy, process improvement, and technical operations within a high-precision CNC manufacturing environment.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on engineering leader who thrives in continuous improvement, machining/process optimization, team development, and operational excellence.

Compensation
