The Advisor Portfolio Controls team aims to build the best full‑service investment management platform in the industry. The team operates as part of Betterment Advisor Solutions, the all‑in‑one custodial platform for independent RIAs, and focuses on empowering financial advisors with the tools to manage their clients’ portfolios. We hold high pride in building high‑quality user experiences to simplify portfolio management for complex needs. We’re looking for a technical leader to drive this team forward while upholding high standards in quality and execution, all in service of our customers.
As an Engineering Manager on this team, you’ll help lead us through a period of important growth and maturation as the advisor business continues to thrive. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cross‑functional leadership to execute a product roadmap with your team. You’ll also plan and lead projects, achieve operational excellence, navigate new intricacies of our domain, collaborate with other engineering leaders and stakeholders, and mentor and grow a team of amazing engineers.
This role is based out of our NYC office. Base salary range: New York City: $170,000 - $195,000.
