Loews Regency New York Hotel is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead daily maintenance operations on guest rooms and floors, ensuring four-diamond standards. You will supervise, inspect work orders, and coordinate preventive maintenance programs while mentoring technicians to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee audits, ADA compliance, tool and key control, and collaborate with security on locking systems.

Responsibilities

Post-secondary education in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline* High school diploma or equivalent* Proven experience in overseeing maintenance operations, preventive maintenance, and system inspections. Previous experience with leadership, training, and employee performance management* Hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and life safety systems* Familiarity with HotSoS or other computer-based maintenance management systems* Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure* Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and blueprints* Knowledge of OSHA regulations and equipment maintenance standards* Effective communication and interpersonal skills* Familiarity with energy management and system diagnostics* Ability to stand, walk, reach, work on ladders, and lift/pull/push 50 plus pounds regularly throughout the shift* Flexibility to work on varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed**Who You’ll Supervise**:* Engineering DepartmentSalary range for this position, based on experience, is $68,000.00 to $85,000.00.
