Rise Technical in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking a Firmware Engineering Manager to lead a team of embedded software engineers in power electronics projects. You will own software direction for high-power control systems, while mentoring engineers and shaping best practices across the lifecycle.

Are you an Embedded Engineer or Firmware Engineering Leader with experience developing software for power electronics, power conversion, power generation or high-voltage industrial systems, looking to lead a specialist engineering team developing cutting-edge power control technology?

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team of embedded engineers developing advanced SCR and IGBT-based power conversion systems used across critical industrial applications worldwide. You'll take ownership of the software function, shaping technical direction whilst mentoring and developing your team.

This role would suit a Senior Embedded Controls Engineer ready to step into management, or an existing Firmware or Embedded Software Manager with experience in power electronics, industrial power systems, power conversion or high-voltage controls, looking for greater autonomy, technical ownership and long-term progression.
