Job summary

Southern Ohio Medical Center is seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Assistant Manager to lead mechanical maintenance, coordinate the team, and manage costs. You will oversee BAS operations, scheduling, and labor tracking, while ensuring safety and reliability across the plant.

Strong leadership and regulatory compliance experience are essential for success. Responsibilities include managing work orders, coordinating with vendors, and supporting capital projects within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10-hour within 1 year of hire.
• EPA 608 certification within 120 days.
• Crane/Rigging training within 120 days.
• Forklift, Aerial Lift, and confined space training within 120 days.
• Associate degree or technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BAS monitoring and operation, HVAC controls.
• Coordinate maintenance planning, labor, and budget tracking.
• Manage CMMS work orders and documentation of labor/materials.
• Develop project schedules and ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Support procurement and contractor coordination.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across facilities.
