Job summary

Aman is seeking an Engineering Level 1 to maintain Amangiri's resort facilities and ensure guest comfort. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, timely responses to requests, and careful handling of tools and equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a maintenance field, with availability on weekends/holidays, and a professional appearance. This on-site position requires stamina, safety awareness, and coordination with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance-related field, preferably in hospitality or luxury resort settings.
• Must have open availability and be willing to work weekends and holiday shifts.
• Ability to manage time effectively and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with various departments and colleagues.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged durations.
• Ability to maintain a professional and clean appearance in line with company policies.
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner, representing Aman resorts.
• Clean driving and criminal records required.

Responsibilities

• Exceed guest expectations by maintaining high standards of care and service in daily tasks, projecting a positive image through grooming and communication.
• Report on time for each shift and adhere to uniform standards.
• Care for tools, supplies, and equipment responsibly, ensuring items are properly accounted for and maintained.
• Perform general preventive maintenance tasks including painting, minor repairs, and nightly inspections of mechanical rooms.
• Conduct routine inspections and repairs of public pools, lights, and HVAC systems as per schedule.
• Respond to room and guest calls, addressing maintenance requests promptly.
• Carry out snow removal, garbage pickup, and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facilities.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of daily tasks and projects with Director of Engineering.
• Assist with furniture setup for events and other duties supporting hotel operations.
