Job summary

ScioTeq LLC is seeking an Engineering Logistics Support (ELS) to join our Duluth, GA team. The role focuses on coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service to support rugged display and computer products for defense applications.

You will manage Bills of Materials in PLM, initiate components for prototyping, and oversee documentation control and trade compliance. A strong administrative background and basic electronics understanding are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience.
• 3+ years related experience in product development and/or manufacturing.
• Strong administrative background with basic technical understanding of electronics.
• Experience with PLM system preferred.
• Experience with Product Bills of Material and Engineering Change Notices preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software tools.
• Must be self-motivated with strong work ethic, teachable, and collaborative.
• Must be a US Person.

Responsibilities

• Initiate new components within a PLM system and ensure their availability for prototyping.
• Provide logistical support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth coordination and readiness for product release within the ERP system.

Responsibilities

ScioTeq Rugged Smart Display and Computer products are designed to provide high computing and video processing performance in extreme operating environments governed by MIL STD and EN military specifications. Designed and manufactured by ScioTeq, these products are rarely sold as “off the shelf” products. Customers typically require customization for their specific applications and requirements. This often requires creative problem solving, coordination with engineers, manufacturing operations and customer service. The ELS Technical Support person has the following main responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Bills of Material within a PLM system
