    We are the Digital Platform Integrations (DPI) Platform team. We provide the infrastructure, tools, and platforms to build the standardized, secure, reliable, scalable integration solutions to Starbucks enterprise and external trading partners. We support over 14 Starbucks business portfolios. Daily, we have over 300 million events flowing through our system.

    This job contributes to Starbucks success by delivering high-quality, reliable, and stable technologies and security capabilities in support of the Starbucks Engineering Platform.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities
    • Lead the operation and sustainment effort in DPI space.
    • Lead and facilitation weekly on-call handover meetings. Track follow-up issues that require continuity over multiple support weeks, document action items assigned to or claimed by fellow team members; work some issues to resolution.
    • Lead and direct our tier1 offshore production support team by providing guidance to improve production support efficiency.
    • Direct the team's best practices for incident resolution and the facilitation of cross functional troubleshooting, root cause analysis and engagement with vendors and 3rd party trading partners where needed.
    • Direct the development of trend analysis reports and leads the remediation efforts for recurring issues.
    • Mentor others to be proficient in debugging, profiling and monitoring tools as well as creative problem solving.
    • Re-invent services' monitoring solutions across all platforms to ensure continuous availability and operation continuity of critical business services to provide one-stop shop health monitoring for our eco-system.
    • Define knowledge base and/or operational runbooks based on identification of new support process for new platforms.
    • Collaboration with other technical service teams to manage, maintain, and resolve complex IT services.
    • Participates in collaboration with peers to resolve cross-domain infrastructure, platform issues.
    • Exhibits excellent communication skills in a verbal, written, and visual manner; partner with the leadership team to help with domain appropriate communications; and understands what needs to be.
    • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced and cross-functional team environment.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 10+ years of professional industry experience with software development and operations
    • 7+ or proficient in building Splunk and/or DataDog dashboards to capture SRE 4 golden signals (Latency, Error, Throughput and Saturation)
    • 7+ years of experience in Linux command line, bash script
    • 7+ years of experience in working with Linux, Ubuntu OS
    • 7+ years of full stack of application development using J2EE, Apache Tomcat, TomEE (Tribestream), Spring Boot, Angular
    • 5+ years of experience of monitoring capabilities in Cloud (AWS, Azure)
    • 5+ years of experience of using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible and Chef dev ops tools
    • Basic understanding of networking
    • Self-starter in learning new technologies
    • Outstanding troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, written and spoken communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate with others to solve a complex problem
    • Ability to use knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to design and implement technical solutions
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 7+ years of experience of leading operations and building processes, tools to support operational excellence.
    • 5+ years of experience of leading/managing offshore teams
    • 5+ years of experience of Integration technologies, Broker technologies (Software AG Universal Messaging, Kafka
    • 5+ years of experience of Cloud technologies (Azure EventHub, Azure EventGrid, AWS SNS)
