Job summary

ASX Limited is seeking an Engineering Lead – Data & DevOps to drive data, platform and security disciplines across the Equities Trading Technology domain. You will shape scalable engineering practices and modern pipelines while partnering with Product, Architecture and Cyber Security teams.

You will lead teams to deliver trusted, secure and highly resilient market infrastructure, advancing automation, observability and reliability across the ASX Trade ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field and 10+ years delivering resilient platforms.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and talent development.
• Strong DevSecOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of data engineering, streaming platforms and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Data, Platform and DevOps engineers.
• Define engineering standards, practices and roadmaps.
• Oversee data pipelines, streaming integrations and data products.
• Drive automation, CI/CD, IaC, security controls and platform tooling.
• Ensure availability, reliability, observability and resilience of platforms.
• Engage with product and risk stakeholders to align technology with business goals.
