Job summary

Chariot Claims is hiring an Engineering Lead to own the claims pipeline from submission to paid outcome. You will build the systems that connect claimants and partner law firms, with a focus on reliability, observability, and rapid iteration. This AI-native role emphasizes autonomous product decisions and end-to-end ownership.

You will recruit and grow the engineering team, work on internal tooling and platform foundations, and drive the tech strategy in a regulated, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping production software at staff-level scope.
• Track record of shipping products end-to-end and owning outcomes.
• Strong product instincts and bias toward action for independent decisions.
• Early-stage startup experience (Series A or earlier).
• Experience building and growing a team, or readiness to lead from day one.

Responsibilities

• Build real-time claims processing pipeline from prototype to dependable production stages.
• Create systems connecting claimants and partner law firms, including dashboards and handoffs.
• Own pipeline reliability and observability as a core product capability.
• Contribute to shared platform foundations, internal tooling, MCPs, and agent harnesses.
• Recruit, vet, and grow engineers on the team.
