Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Our client, a leading Medical Device company, is seeking an entry/junior level Engineering Lab Technician for their Round Lake, IL facility - we are only accepting candidates who are either local to the area or planning to relocate to North Chicago. See below for other details!

Top Skills Needed:

• Experience in a lab environment collecting data with mechanical test equipment (torque drivers, tensile testers, micrometers, pressure gauges, etc)
• Experience with documentation in a quality (manufacturing or laboratory) environment
• Ability to take detailed measurements & observations, and to convey those items clearly

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and development laboratory tasks and experiments, including mechanical, electrical and/or system-level evaluations.
• Will develop and maintain record keeping for experiments performed.
• Required to make detailed observations of tests, analyze data, and interpret results
• Will maintain medical device laboratory equipment and inventory level of laboratory supplies.
• Will document summaries of testing and may write test protocols and reports.
• May support troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities.
• May be assigned routine assembly and testing portions of projects (e.g. product performance and software script testing).

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree within an engineering realm and 0-2 years of experience
