Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an Engineering Lab Technician for a 12-month, on-site contract. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining hardware in a lab, soldering, and applying knowledge of PC, storage, networking, and GPU architectures. A degree (Associates or BA) is required.

Experience with inventory management and JIRA is a plus. Ideal candidates will have hands-on hardware lab experience in enterprise or university settings, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced

Job description

Title: Engineering Lab Technician
Location: 100% ONSITE M-F/40 hours a week
Remote / Hybrid Schedule: Fully onsite
Start Date: September 14
Duration: 12-month contract (ongoing, will continue to resign)

Must Haves:

• Understanding of PC architecture, storage architecture, networking, and GPU architecture
• Experience or exposure to inventory management
• Experience working in a hardware lab environment (enterprise or university setting)
• Soldering experience, including entry-level soldering skills
• Hands-on experience supporting, testing, or maintaining hardware equipment in a lab environment
• Associates or Bachelor's degree

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail; Self-drive/proactive
• Ability to multi-task

Pluses:

• SMD component related work
• Knowledge/experience with JIRA
