Job summary

Qualifications

• AA degree in electronics, telecommunications, industrial technology, or a closely related field.
• Equivalent to two years of journey-level or skilled experience in maintenance, repair, fabrication, or operation of electronic, electrical, electromechanical, or laboratory equipment.
• Experience with hand tools, safety practices, and basic electronics testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install, and upgrade laboratory electrical and electronic equipment used in electronics, power systems, instrumentation, and student projects.
• Debug and troubleshoot complete electronic systems using test equipment and schematics; design minor modifications.
• Provide guidance to faculty and students on equipment selection and safety; assist in coordinating hands-on engineering education.
• Manage the EEE Service Center, oversee workflow and parts inventory, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate installation of new systems and facility improvements.
