Job summary

Marotta Controls in Chaska, MN seeks an experienced Manager, Engineering IPT Leads to direct engineering IPTs and lead cross-functional teams in developing embedded power and actuation systems for aerospace and defense applications.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical/software engineering background, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects from concept through validation, with engagement from senior engineers and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience as a technical lead.
• New Product Development experience in aerospace/military industry.
• Ability to communicate, plan, organize, supervise, and control work in multiple projects.
• Experience executing a project from start to finish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Earned Value Management.

Responsibilities

• Direct Engineering IPT Lead responsibilities across project teams.
• Manage technical performance to schedule and cost; support program manager.
• Lead NPD processes for electromechanical systems for commercial and military platforms.
• Interface with customers and cross-functional teams to define and execute work.
• Develop engineering development plans, WBS, and technical documentation.
