Job summary

Olsson is seeking a summer 2027 Engineering Student Intern on our Water Resources team in Denver, CO or Loveland, CO. You will perform meaningful, hands-on work on hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater and flood control, using AutoCAD and GIS/ArcMap.

You'll assist with technical analysis, construction documents, research, and writing technical reports, with travel to job sites for field observation as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a summer 2027 engineering student intern with our Water Resources team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You will work closely with other team members and engineers on client projects related to hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control management, floodplain management, and scour and erosion control. You'll provide project design utilizing AutoCAD and GIS/ArcMap. You'll assist with performing technical analysis, preparing construction documents, performing research, and writing technical reports. Depending on the projects, you may also have the opportunity to travel to job sites for field observation.

We have one current internship opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Denver, CO or Loveland, CO office location.

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.

$22 - $26 USD
