Job summary

First Solar invites engineering students to join our Perrysburg, OH Manufacturing and Technology Center for a Spring 2027 internship. You will engage in cross-functional projects across research, development, and operations, with mentorship and term-based development opportunities.

You will work with mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering tracks, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and may contribute to multiple terms while balancing class schedules. Travel within the US may be required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• Overall GPA ≥ 3.0 (4.0 scale).
• Preference for candidates able to commit to multiple terms.
• Encouraged to register internship with university.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of First Solar business model and technology environment.
• Participate in co-op program and undergo training and development.
• Perform analytical project work.
• Collaborate with multiple departments within First Solar.
• Lead or participate in meetings with staff and customers.
• Work with mentors and present end-of-term project summary.
