Job summary

Medtronic seeks summer interns to join its engineering teams. Internships are full-time, 40 hours per week, lasting 10-11 weeks, with housing assistance and relocation support for eligible interns. Most positions are in Minnesota, California, Colorado, Connecticut and Massachusetts, with options in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee and Texas.

Interns must reside in the U.S. during the program. Participants will work onsite at least four days per week and the schedule runs June 1 through

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with expected graduation Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Medtronic does not sponsor internship work authorization.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, operations, process improvement, industrial engineering, or product support.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, process mapping, root cause analysis, or process optimization.
• Experience analyzing operational, manufacturing, quality, or engineering data.
• Experience creating technical documentation, engineering reports, project summaries, standard work instructions, or presentations.

Responsibilities

• Internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 10-11 weeks with housing assistance and relocation support for eligible interns.
• Most internships are based at primary hubs in MN, CA, CO, CT, and MA with additional opportunities in AZ, FL, MI, TN, and TX.
• All interns must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.
• Interns are expected to work onsite a minimum of 4 days per week, June 1–August 13 (semester system) or June 14–August 20 (quarter system).
