Job summary

Prime Engineering, Inc. (A Stratus Team Company) in Atlanta, GA seeks a Bachelor’s Degree candidate in engineering to support our engineering services.

Intern responsibilities include data collection, design support, and updating drawings and reports under engineer supervision. Ideal candidates are enrolled in ABET-accredited programs, engaged in campus activities, and possess strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree candidate in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum, or equivalent, plus continuing education.
• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program in a field related to the work done in the department.
• Actively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Communicating challenges and problems to responsible engineers to identify training and mentoring needs.
• Learning and repeating engineering tasks and assignments.
• Completing tasks requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Timeliness and punctuality in completing assignments.
