Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking Interns for projects in the North Carolina Region, with locations in Havelock and Jacksonville, NC. This internship provides hands-on experience in project engineering, field management, and exposure to estimating and preconstruction activities.

Interns may work on jobsites or in the office and have opportunities to travel across the United States, ending with potential full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to work a 12-week schedule preferred.
• Relocation may be required for specific roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule various contracts and materials.
• Manage document control.
• Coordinate subcontractors and safety practices.
• Participate in team meetings and write RFIs/submittals.
