Job summary

NapaSan offers engineering internships that are paid and part-time (20 hours per week) at $25/hour, located in Napa, CA. This in-person opportunity provides hands-on exposure to engineering work within a wastewater utility.

Interns collaborate with licensed engineers, engage with GIS and AutoCAD tools, and participate in reading plans, maps, and specifications while visiting treatment facilities and construction sites.

NapaSan provides wastewater collection and treatment services to the residents and businesses in the City of Napa and surrounding vicinity. NapaSan strives to recover resources from the wastewater stream by producing recycled water, beneficially reusing biosolids, and creating green energy on-site to power the wastewater treatment process.

At NapaSan, engineers are involved in projects from initial conception through evaluation of alternatives, design, procurement, construction, and operation. NapaSan is a medium-size agency, and engineers are involved in a wide-range of projects and solutions requiring creativity and innovation. NapaSan’s engineers truly make a positive impact on the agency, community, and the wastewater industry.

Compensation and Duration

$25/hour. Part-time, 20 hours per week.
