What you’ll do:

• Students have the opportunity to complete a series of semesters, either rotating between school/work or sequentially, working onsite in Shaw’s manufacturing operations facilities in an engineering capacity
• We will help you match with a facility that best utilizes your skills and interests to develop yourself and the onsite team
• Here, we empower and encourage our trainees to work with our engineering staff and apply both knowledge and problem‑solving skills to ongoing facility projects; theseoften include tackling real‑world issues and gives trainees valuable technical experience for a successful career start.
• Project work typically begins more basic during the student’s first semester and will progressively get more advanced and impactful as the student gains experience
• Upon completing multiple semesters as an intern or co‑op, you will have grown your own knowledge of working in a full‑time position as an engineer in manufacturing and will be developmentally ready to interview for full‑time positions with us upon graduation .
