Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. invites motivated students to join its Engineering Internship/Co-op program in Dalton, Georgia, for Summer 2027. Participants will rotate through Shaw's manufacturing operations, work with experienced engineers, and contribute to real-world projects on site.

You will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development while building a foundation for a successful engineering career in a global flooring company.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and working on a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Operations, Chemical, Materials, Automation, or a related engineering field.
• Must have completed at least 3 or more semesters of college coursework.
• If you are a co-op, you must be registered with your university's official co-op program or career services office.
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5; Full-time student status highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Students will rotate between school/work or work sequentially, onsite in Shaw's manufacturing operations in an engineering capacity.
• Match with a facility that best utilizes your skills and interests to develop yourself and the onsite team.
• Work with engineering staff on real-world projects, applying knowledge and problem-solving skills.
