Job summary

San Jacinto River Authority is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist the technical services team with data collection, analysis, and design support for raw water, potable water, and wastewater infrastructure.

The position can be part-time or full-time in the Engineering Department, under supervision from senior staff. Requires progress toward a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/ Agricultural Engineering and a valid Texas driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two years completed towards a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering.
• Engineering-related job experience is preferred.
• Texas Driver’s License with insurable driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data to support planning, development, operation, and maintenance.
• Assists with development of project scope of works and project management plans.
• Supports engineering analyses related to raw water, potable water, and wastewater infrastructure.
