Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking an entry-level Transport Planner or Traffic Engineer. The candidate will work with a team on various transport planning and engineering projects, including traffic impact studies and signal design.

The ideal applicant should be pursuing or recently completed an M. Sc. in Transport Planning or Traffic Engineering and have strong communication skills. Familiarity with traffic analysis software is a plus. This position primarily requires support on diverse traffic-related assignments.

Responsibilities

• In this position, the entry-level Transport Planner or Traffic Engineer (intern / Fresher) who work with a team on a variety of transport planning / engineering projects. The responsibilities will include assisting in analysis, design and implementation of projects such as traffic impact studies, traffic simulation, travel demand modelling, signal designing etc.
• In this role, excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Experience with preliminary information on traffic analysis software (four stage modelling, simulation related, signal design related) is a strong plus.
