Lennox invites engineering students to join our internship program in West Columbia, SC. This paid internship supports the Engineering team on real projects, offering hands-on experience with industry-leading HVAC solutions and exposure to senior leadership.

This hourly role emphasizes collaboration, data analysis, and professional growth, with potential full-time opportunities after graduation. Relocation may be required according to program needs.

Job Description

Our interns play an active role in supporting key projects and learning the day-to-day operations of their function. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and designed to provide meaningful professional experience while contributing to Allied Air’s goals.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Support the Engineering team with assigned projects and daily operations.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and assist with reporting or project summaries.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to complete deliverables and share insights.
• Take ownership of individual tasks and meet project deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new tools and systems.
• Present project findings or outcomes to the [insert function—e.g., HR, Finance, Engineering, etc.] and business leaders at the end of the internship.

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $22.50 – $25.00/hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
