Responsibilities

We seek well prepared students of top engineering schools to expand their education in structural engineering through the internship program offered at Walter P Moore. As an engineering intern in our Secure Design practice, you will participate on project teams for architectural projects of all types, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings. You will also be eligible to participate in our in-house staff development program.

Qualifications

• BS - Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 24 hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering
• Accepted in or plans to apply for graduate program in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
• EIT preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill required
• Flexible scheduling but should be consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week

This position has an annual salary range as stated below and is, in good faith, an estimate. The actual offered salary will be dependent on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, geographic location, industry experience and internal equity. $25.30 - $35.20/ hour dependent on courses taken and total credit hours in pursuit of a Master's degree
