Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking Engineering Interns to join our team in Northbrook, IL, Auburn Hills, MI, Raleigh, NC and Melville, NY. The role is hybrid with 3 days on-site per week, and interns will work across one of several units focusing on safety science and innovative technologies.

Internships last 10–12 weeks, include networking and development opportunities, and offer a chance to make a real-world impact on safety and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Rising senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Textile Engineering, Chemistry or Fire Safety or related major.
• Strong motivation and ability to work in a results-driven environment.
• Must have indefinite right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work within one of UL Solutions' operating units as an Engineering Intern.
• Gain exposure to real-world research, labs, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Help develop and test safety-related engineering solutions across projects.
