Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Engineering Intern to support assigned department and projects. You will assist engineering teams with tasks, participate in research, development and design activities, and help prepare drawings and documents as assigned.

You’ll be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program, with a basic understanding of engineering and math concepts, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This is a full-time internship with opportunities to learn across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Basic understanding of engineering, geometry and algebra.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to follow direction from peers and supervisors.
• Able to perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
