Job summary

Bosch in Vernon Hills, IL seeks an undergraduate engineering student to join the Applications Engineering Lab. You will assemble/test prototype valves and circuits, assist with R&D testing and vehicle technical support, and support CAN-based controller programming.

You will calibrate instruments, prepare trade-show materials, help with customer inquiries, and collect/test data for reports. Candidates should be pursuing an engineering degree, have strong computing skills, and be self-directed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an engineering college as an undergraduate student.
• Agriculture background considered a plus.
• Strong computing knowledge and technical aptitude desired.
• Self-directed with good problem solving and hands-on skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test prototype valves and circuits in the Applications Engineering Lab.
• Assist with applications research & development testing and vehicle technical support.
• Assist with instrumentation and motion control CAN bases controller programming.
• Conduct scheduled calibration on test instrumentation; maintain accuracy.
• Create/prepare material used for trade shows and demonstrations.
• Assist Technical Services with customer inquiries; support data collection and reporting.
• Collect and analyze prototype test data and prepare reports.
