GE Vernova is seeking an Intern on the Power Conversion & Storage Engineering team to support NPI for solar and energy storage products. You will interface with AI solutions, current application engineers, design engineers, and leadership to develop tools for GE Vernova products.

As an Intern on the Power Conversion & Storage (PCS) Engineering team, you will support PCS New Product Introduction (NPI). This role serves as interface with GE Vernova branded AI solutions, current application engineers, design engineers, and leadership to develop tools to develop GE Vernova products in the solar and energy storage product lines.

Job Description

What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)

Manage the data flow and infrastructure for effective AI deployment for use with Power Conversion & Storage products
Identify and develop data collection, document formatting and template generation to be used by an AI tool for faster engineering development
Work closely with our AI Research Technology team to identify critical data needed to tune the AI tool
Work closely with Engineers to develop agents and similar interface tools which meet NPI needs
Test and program AI tools to validate their effectiveness
Create and present training materials for the use of the AI tools created

What You’ll Bring (Basic Qualifications)

Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university
Enrolled in a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program

Other Eligibility Requirements

Must be able to develop and maintain good customer relationships
Must be willing to work in geographical area specified by the business

Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.

The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
