Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an Intern on the Power Conversion & Storage (PCS) Engineering team to support PCS New Product Introduction (NPI).

The role interfaces with GE Vernova AI solutions, application engineers, design engineers, and leadership to develop tools for GE Vernova products in the solar and energy storage lines. The intern will manage data flow for AI deployment, identify data needs, work with the AI Research Technology team, and help develop agents and templates, test AI tools,

As an Intern on the Power Conversion & Storage (PCS) Engineering team, you will support PCS New Product Introduction (NPI). This role serves as interface with GE Vernova branded AI solutions, current application engineers, design engineers, and leadership to develop tools to develop GE Vernova products in the solar and energy storage product lines.

Job Description

What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage the data flow and infrastructure for effective AI deployment for use with Power Conversion & Storage products


• Identify and develop data collection, document formatting and template generation to be used by an AI tool for faster engineering development


• Work closely with our AI Research Technology team to identify critical data needed to tune the AI tool


• Work closely with Engineers to develop agents and similar interface tools which meet NPI needs


• Test and program AI tools to validate their effectiveness


• Create and present training materials for the use of the AI tools created

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university


• Enrolled in a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program

• Must be able to develop and maintain good customer relationships


• Must be willing to work in geographical area specified by the business

Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.

Power Conversion & Storage

The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
