Job summary

STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION is seeking an OPS Intern – D3 in Panama City for a part-time internship (20 hours per week) with an hourly rate of $15. The position will assist with engineering assignments and maintaining project documentation.

Your responsibilities include reviewing assignments, maintaining logs, developing Work Orders and Supplemental Agreements, and coordinating monthly estimates to contractors. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide identification.
• Participants must comply with all statutes, rules, and agency policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing assignments in engineering and verifying field computations.
• Assist with creating and maintaining project documentation and logs.
• Assist in developing Work Orders and Supplemental Agreements.
• Assist with coordination and processing of monthly estimates to contractors.
