Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) offers an internship/co-op program in Logistics & Storage (L&S) designed to identify and develop future technical and leadership talent. Participants rotate through L&S components to gain exposure to MPLX operations and engage in project management processes across conceptual to startup phases.

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, be available on-site 40 hours per week, have a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree seeking program for the duration of the experience.
• Strong academic performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope.
• Provide engineering oversight.
• Assist with technical design and cost estimating.
• Develop schedules and bid evaluations.
• Support construction supervision and safety leadership.
• Coordinate with operations groups and document projects.

Education
