Linamar Corporation is seeking a Student Intern to support the Engineering team. In this role, you will assist with documentation, design, and machine operations, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

The intern will update engineering documents, prepare engineering drawings, and assist with machine set-up. This unique opportunity allows interns to collaborate on significant projects in engineering while developing their skill set in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering program or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
• Ability to manage and track project details.

Responsibilities

• Create and update engineering documents including ECRs and work instructions.
• Prepare and log engineering drawings.
• Set up and operate CNC machines.
• Verify finished workpieces to specifications.
• Perform tool changes and document capability studies.
