Job summary

Guardian Glass, a Koch company, seeks Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 in DeWitt, IA. The 12-week program runs from late May to mid-August 2027, offering hands-on exposure to innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, and quality assurance in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Engineering degree or equivalent program.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Working in CAD software.
• Preparing and performing failure testing on glass/trim samples.
• Automation of processes and standardized reporting.
• Time studies and lean process improvement to achieve operational excellence.
• Supporting product development lab experiments and field trials.
• Working with and learning about tooling.
• Supporting project teams on new equipment installations.
