Job summary

Relco invites applications for an Engineering Intern position in Willmar, MN. The internship offers hands-on experience in design, analysis, and drafting within our manufacturing environment. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, with onsite, hybrid, or remote options and a seasonal schedule.

The role provides exposure to equipment manuals, safety procedures, and collaborative project work under supervision by a professional engineer and will report to Kent Underland.

Qualifications

• Education: Enrolled in college/university for drafting or engineering related degree program.

Responsibilities

• Assists in product or system design under the guidance of another engineer.
• Assists in analyzing product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine possible design improvements.
• Assists in preparing product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Assists in performing engineering duties and subtasks in area of discipline of low complexity for a project or projects.
• Assists in development of equipment/owner’s manuals and spare parts lists.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery.
• Keep work area clean & organized so not to present a safety hazard.
• Assist with all special projects assigned by supervisor.
• Assist with Engineering projects as assigned by supervisor .
