Job summary

Compeer Financial is seeking an Engineering Intern to join a cross-functional team. You will build and operate modern digital solutions, while learning how engineering aligns with product goals and client needs.

The role includes mentorship from experienced engineers, exposure to cloud-native and AI-enabled tools, and a path toward an Associate Engineer. This is a paid internship through Summer 2027 with locations in Bloomington, IL or Sun Prairie, WI.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Completion of coursework in programming, software engineering fundamentals, algorithms, data structures.
• Experience developing software through coursework, personal projects, or open-source work.
• Demonstrated learning agility and curiosity with feedback-driven learning.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering delivery by completing well-defined tasks with quality and security.
• Apply fundamentals while learning team technologies, cloud-native and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to deliver value-added work.
• Demonstrate learning agility and responsibly apply new knowledge.
