Job summary

Sunrock Industries in Raleigh, NC seeks an Engineering Intern for a 10–13 week summer program (May–August 2027). You will observe and assist in the Engineering Department, learning to support the team with essential tasks and daily operations under supervision. Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree (Sophomore+), with basic AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency, you will adapt to the schedule.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm at the Raleigh corporate office.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be in pursuit of a BS/BA in Civil Engineering or related field, sophomore level or above.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Observe and participate in the Engineering Department tasks.
• Provide quality support to the Engineering team with day-to-day assistance.
• Work under general supervision; internship lasts 10–13 weeks.
