Ascend Performance Materials is seeking Engineering Interns to apply engineering and safety principles within a chemical and/or polymer manufacturing environment. Interns may rotate between Alvin, TX; Pensacola, FL; Decatur, AL; and Foley, AL to gain experience with unique processes and operations.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an engineering program and be on site daily. Housing assistance is provided for students within 50 miles who are not local.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an engineering program and have completed sophomore year.
• Fields: Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Candidates must be on site daily; not remote.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from site; housing assistance provided within 50 miles.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day operations with detailed process guidance.
• Provide technical guidance on process matters to improve capability.
• Assist process technology with innovative and cost-effective design.
• Assist maintenance and reliability in predictive and preventive programs.
• Collaborate across sites to gain experience in multiple processes.
