Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation invites driven engineering students to join our summer internship program. You will gain hands-on exposure in product design, project management, and leadership skills within a hands-on learning environment.

As an intern, you will work up to 40 hours a week, collaborate with the engineering team, modify product designs using AutoCAD and Inventor, and contribute to real projects and reports that improve our processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Plastics Engineering Technology, or similar.
• Must have completed course work relating to design.
• Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Efficient and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic product design modifications.
• Perform AutoCAD & Inventor Drafting tasks on drawing revisions and creation.
• Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment.
• Perform engineering change processes as necessary to support existing products.
• Communicate with team members to gather information about project requirements or to report progress on a project.
• Conducting technical research to identify issues and propose solutions.
