Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a four-year engineering program and 1–3 years away from graduation
• Experience with Excel, programming languages, AutoCAD, Inventor preferred
• Willingness to work in a plant/manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and statistical methods, leadership, communication, and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of process prints and CAD layouts
• Assist in process improvements and cost reduction projects
• Assist engineers with fixture design and tooling
• Participate in Lean manufacturing teams
• Create and maintain manufacturing instructions and standard work
• Conduct time studies and help with routings
• Data entry and maintenance in SAP
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve problems
• Produce flow charts, spreadsheets, and presentations for staff projects
