Job summary

Genius AI is seeking engineering interns for Summer 2027 to join a live engineering team building features used by hundreds of thousands of service businesses and their clients daily. You will work on real production features headed to production, report to an engineering manager, and be in the SF SOMA office in person 3-4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS in CS or related technical field, graduating between 2027 and 2028, with coursework or project experience in software engineering
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply AI tools in projects
• Strong problem-solving and independent work skills
• Comfort with rapid iteration and new frameworks/tools

Responsibilities

• Build and test features for web and mobile products alongside senior engineers
• Architect small automation pieces with AI to reduce repetitive work
• Write clean code and own debugging and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with data analysts to interpret usage data and inform AI application across the product
• Ship fast and learn faster with AI-assisted development in a tight cadence
