Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or Land Surveying program at an accredited university (required).

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and consistently meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Support civil engineering projects through research, design documentation, and basic engineering calculations.
• Utilize AutoCAD/Civil 3D and similar design software to develop drawings, plans, and exhibits.
• Assist in the preparation and review of construction documents, including specifications and cost estimates.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, planning, and survey teams to deliver accurate, on-schedule work.
• Participate in site visits, field survey work, and client meetings to observe project management and field operations firsthand.
• Learn and apply industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to civil engineering and surveying.
• Assist in drafting technical reports, summaries, and project presentations.

This role is built for a student who wants to learn land surveying and has aspirations on becoming a professional land surveyor. This role is ideal for a student who wants real project exposure rather than busywork. This internship is for someone eager to learn how land development actually comes together, from field data to finished construction documents. The Engineering Intern will work alongside experienced engineers, designers, and survey professionals, gaining hands-on experience across both civil engineering and land surveying disciplines.This individual will support the design, documentation, and delivery of a wide range of project types including single-family residential, multifamily, commercial, industrial, and municipal public works.
