Position Overview

XeroCorp is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to support our manufacturing and engineering operations. This internship provides hands‑on experience in a fast-paced production environment focused on plastic injection molding, contract manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, technically curious, and excited to contribute to real engineering projects that directly impact manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Assist engineering and production teams with process improvement initiatives
  • Support manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and technical reporting
  • Participate in troubleshooting manufacturing and production issues
  • Help collect and analyze production and quality data
    Assist with CAD modeling, drawings, and engineering change documentation
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and operations
  • Perform research and testing related to manufacturing processes and materials
    Maintain organized project documentation and engineering records
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in:
    Mechanical Engineering
    Manufacturing Engineering
    Or related technical field
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with SolidWorks is Required
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environmentInterest in manufacturing, automation, and production systems
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or injection molding
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts
  • Hands‑on mechanical aptitude
