Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis, IN offers a full-time internship within the FS&RE Engineering group. You will work closely with experienced scientists and technical experts to build skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and network across the company.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a B.S. in Engineering with preferences for Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical fields and strong Microsoft Office skills; CAD support and data capture will be part of daily activities.

Qualifications

• Incumbent requirements are to be working on a B.S. in Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Learn and work safely within the site safety requirements.
• Assist with tagging of serviceable assets on projects.
• Fill out data capture forms for equipment as needed.
• Interact with emaint (CMMS) to ensure assets are properly entered into the system for future maintenance activities.
• Provide project engineering support to project managers on capital projects.
• Work with researchers and building occupants to develop scopes for small projects.
• Troubleshoot facility issues with Operations and Maintenance personnel.
• Help with CAD design and changes for small projects.
• Validate equipment & process information on campus for engineers.

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a student for a full-time internship within our FS&RE Engineering group in Indianapolis, IN. Interns will work closely with experienced scientists and technical experts with opportunities to build skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and network across the company.

What You'll Do:

Personal Safety

• Learn and work safely within the Corteva site safety requirements.
• Must be able to walk site, climb ladders, hot/cold work environments, and wear proper Personnel Protective Equipment as needed at all times.
• Actively participate in safety activities and follow all safety guidelines.

Reliability

• Assist with tagging of serviceable assets on projects.
• Fill out data capture forms for equipment as needed.
• Interact with emaint (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) to ensure assets are properly entered into the system for future maintenance activities.

Engineering & Computer Aided Design

• Provide project engineering support to project managers on capital projects.
• Work with researchers and building occupants to develop scopes for small projects.
• Troubleshoot facility issues with Operations and Maintenance personnel.
• Help with CAD design and changes for small projects.
• Validate equipment & process information out on the campus for engineers.

What Skills You Need:
